Assistance for 1st Generation College Students
The Suder Scholars Program provides scholarships and personalized support to enable first-generation students to successfully transition to college. Support interventions include a cohort model, dedicated advisor, and other programming such as workshops, social activities, peer mentoring, tutoring, and campus engagement. Investing in scholars through a holistic approach will be measurably more effective and have a greater life impact than providing scholarships alone.
